We dance our way into spring

Residents and the team at Pinetum got into the spirit of spring recently with the help of the Mockbeggar Morris group and it wasn’t long before everyone was up and joining in with the fun.

The group, made up entirely of women, dance traditional North West clog morris and they joined visited the home from their base in Heswall.

Activities coordinator Adele Elliott said: “Everyone loved the music and the troupe were really infectious with their high spirited dancing and colourful uniforms. There was lots of cheering and clapping and before we knew it carers Ritchie Catherall and Laura Goff were up and joining in.

“There has always been a strong tradition of women clog dancing in the North West and seeing the dancers brought back happy memories for many of the residents as well as giving some colleagues a great work out!”
