Race for Life 2012

On 24th June 2012, the ladies of Will Adams Treatment Centre took part in Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The ladies took part wearing pink coloured items of clothing including a hula skirt, fluffy ears and feather bowers – even their dog took part sporting a pink feather bower! Hosted on a coastal route at Herne Bay, the ladies braved the strong winds and walked the 5km to the finish line!

There were six ladies taking part in the event, including the organisers, Bet Rolfe and Colleen Peterson and they managed to raise £145 to go towards Cancer Research UK.

Congratulations ladies!
