A clean bill of health for Hilary!

After a routine screening, Hilary Shepperd discovered she needed hospital treatment and after hearing positive reviews about Southampton Treatment Centre from friends and family, she knew exactly where she wanted to go.

Hilary had always taken her health very seriously after working in the health care sector for many years. Since retiring, Hilary had maintained a busy lifestyle by walking, swimming and caring for her brother. After going for a routine screening, Hilary was quite surprised when her test results came back positive and she needed to be seen by a Endoscopy consultant.
 
Having spoken to friends and relatives and hearing excellent reviews, Hilary chose to come to the Southampton Treatment Centre for her care: ‘I told my GP I wanted to come to the Southampton Treatment Centre as I knew it had such a fantastic reputation. Within 2 weeks I had my initial consultation and everything was explained really well. I had never been ill before and the caring attitude of my consultant really put me at ease.’
 
After a brief 3 week wait, Hilary was then seen for her treatment. She said ‘I was contacted before by my consultant to be reassured, she made sure all my questions were asked prior to my treatment. On the day of my treatment, everyone was very helpful and friendly. I was very nervous, but everyone made me feel very comfortable. All the doctors and nurses were excellent.’
 
After her treatment, Hilary was able to go home. ‘I felt back to normal the next day and I was finally able to relax. Now, I don’t even think about the problems I had as they have completely gone. I really valued my experience at Southampton Treatment Centre, I even recommended going there to my sister-in-law!’
