Mitchell House to raise funds for Dementia UK

Residents and staff at Care UK’s Mitchell House are busy in the kitchens, getting ready to raise money for Dementia UK, as part of Time for a Cuppa dayon Monday 27th February.

Time for a Cuppa is about bringing people together across the country to hold an event at home, in the workplace or in the community, to help raise much-needed funds to support the work of Dementia UK, a charity dedicated to improving life for people with dementia.

Care Home Manager Diana Wiltshire said: “Our kitchen team and staff will be making cakes to sell on the day and several of our residents enjoy decorating the fairy cakes. I’m sure everyone’s creations will be very pretty and very tasty and will raise a lot of money for this very good cause”

As well as raising money through the cake sale, there will also be a chance to donate and win with a tombola and raffle.  Pamper treats will also be on offer during the morning of activities.
