X-Factor finalist John Adeleye performs for his number one London fans

X-Factor finalist John Adeleye has taken a break from his recording studio to give a very special concert to the residents in Forrester Court nursing home in Paddington.

Before signing up for the 2010 X-Factor, John worked at Forrester Court, organising entertainment and events for the 110 residents. When the bright lights of show business beckoned, residents were disappointed to lose their talented team member. However, they were delighted when John agreed to come back and give a free concert for the staff and residents of this popular London nursing home, which provides care for older people and has a specialist early on-set dementia facility.

Activities co-ordinator Julius Adesanya was delighted to welcome his old friend and colleague back to the home. He said: “Even during the hectic schedule of filming X-Factor, John took time to come and see the residents. Even though by then he was a household name, he sat and chatted to residents and helped to make sure that everyone was comfortable. Many of our residents really enjoy singing and dancing so the concert was a great hit with everyone.”
