Off-licence owner finding life easier

Off-licence owner Ian Smith was very impressed with the service and care he received from Southampton Treatment Centre, after having the cartilage in his nose operated on.

Ian had been suffering for many years with a narrow cartilage, which caused a number of problems including being unable to breathe properly, feeling tired and having a ‘muggy head’.  He had accepted he would just have to put up with the discomfort until one day, after a chance discussion with a friend, finally realised that maybe something could be done to ease his symptoms.  It was on the back of this that Ian visited his GP who then referred him to the Treatment Centre.

“After my pre-assessment appointment, I was offered an appointment for my procedure within 3 weeks, but because it was around the Christmas period and I own an Off-licence, I had to decline.  I then accepted a second appointment at the Treatment Centre for the following month and had my procedure done then, meaning everything was sorted from start to finish within 2 months, despite my cancellation!”

“I was very impressed with the Treatment Centre.  Everything was explained to me step by step including the amount of time I would need to recover.  The staff were wonderful, very friendly and professional, I enjoyed the food and found the centre very clean.”

Ian, who owns The Food Barn Off Licence in Millbrook, has made a full recovery and is now running back and forth from the cash and carry with his supplies with no problem at all.
