Dennis’s Green fingers ready to go

Keen Gardner Dennis Pratt will soon be pulling up weeds again, after having two Carpal Tunnel operations at the Treatment Centre to relieve the pain and weakness he was suffering from in his hands.

82 year old Dennis had noticed over time the issue was getting worse, but it was when he began to struggle doing his everyday activities he realised he needed things checked out:

“As it was a slow process it was hard to notice at first.  I love keeping active and it was when I began struggling with my work around the home I went to my GP.  Before long I was on my way to the Treatment Centre to have the procedure – it was great.”

Dennis has had a few operative procedures through the NHS over the years and cannot speak highly enough of the service he has received:

“I can’t complain about a single thing from my experiences in NHS hospitals and most recently at the Treatment Centre.  Their paperwork was easy to understand, I received it on time and everything about what to expect before, during and after the operation was explained clearly to me.  Therefore as I knew how long I would be unable to use my hands effectively for I could make sure my garden was all up together before I went in!”

Each procedure took around three hours of Dennis’s time and he attended the centre with his wife, who was equally impressed by the centre.  It’s now 3 weeks since Dennis had his second hand done.  He said:
“I’m amazed by how quickly I’ve recovered.  I’ve started doing chores again with no pain and now I can’t wait to get back out in the garden!”
