“Care UK takes its responsibilities as a care provider extremely seriously and we seek at all times to deliver the highest quality of care. We feel a real sense of duty to the people who depend on us. For these reasons we are sorry that our performance fell below our usual high standards in some cases and we have apologized publicly and privately where appropriate.”

“However, these are isolated examples and not representative of the care that we provide. Thanks to the efforts of our dedicated and hard working staff, of whom we are enormously proud, 93% of Care UK’s domiciliary care services are rated as excellent or good by the independent regulator, the Commission for Social Care Inspection, and none are rated poor. In residential care we are the highest rated private sector service provider.”

“Despite these wider achievements, we are far from complacent and we have made immediate changes and improvements.  This has included a comprehensive review of all care plans, the implementation of new processes backed by new software to improve the timeliness of visits and further training for our staff.”
