Many catering colleagues join us from restaurants or hotels where they’re used to working long hours late into the night. In a care home, you’ll work more sociable hours, and you’ll also have the opportunity to build relationships by getting to know residents and their tastes and preferences. This is a role where you can really make a difference.

Trusted to care

A closely-knit team of managers, carers, nurses and support colleagues – and each of us is dedicated to your loved one’s care, health and wellbeing.

I’ve worked at Kings Court for almost 19 years, having started as a Care Assistant before progressing to Senior Carer, then Deputy Manager and now Home Manager. I joined Care UK because they really care about both residents and colleagues. They do an amazing job of helping team members in their homes to progress.

As Home Manager, I run Kings Court and ensure everyone in the home is safe and happy. I believe the most important quality to have is to care. I care about residents and will do everything I can to ensure they have a fulfilling and happy life while living with us at Kings Court.

I love my job. Becoming Home Manager at Kings Court has been the biggest highlight of my career to date. I’m excited to make positive changes in my role, as I love to see residents happy and loving life. I’m proud when I know that we as a team are making Kings Court an amazing place to live.

A fun fact about me is that I come from a farming family, and I love cows! When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family.
