You’re a caring, can-do person with experience working in building maintenance. Ideally, some of that has been gained in a care home setting. You’ve got a good basic education with GCSEs (or the equivalent) including English and Maths. As well as being very practical, you like dealing with people. You’re happy building good relationships with residents, colleagues and contractors. You’re a multi-tasker who can work well under pressure and use your initiative to solve problems. Your role
The safety of our care home residents and staff is really important. So your role will be to make sure the premises and grounds are maintained to a high standard. You’ll perform regular checks, carry out repairs and, when needed, contact engineers or service agents. You’ll be confident doing fire, basic electrical and appliance checks. Faults must be reported and actioned promptly. We’ll also expect you to keep the grounds looking tidy and carry out general redecoration work. The role: The role of Customer Relations Manager is to drive sales and support the care home to achieve its sales targets, with a primary focus on self-funded customers. The Customer Relations Manager will work flexibly to meet business needs, and this will entail working some evenings and weekends to provide an exceptional customer experience for each sales enquiry.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve set targets for resident occupancy, associated self-pay mix and average weekly fee.
Promote the care home via strong community relationships and drive enquiries through events, sponsorship, and PR.
Effectively communicate accurate information to prospective clients regarding the facilities, care expertise, service, and prices.
Understand and monitor the competitor landscape to ensure the homes maintain their competitive advantage and identify gaps in the local market.
Identify potential business and marketing opportunities within the local catchment area.
Work closely with the Home Manager and Head of Departments
Ensure all daily, weekly, and monthly required reports are completed accurately and on time.

About You
NVQ Level 3 in health and social care desirable
Be well-organised, IT literate and adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately.
Proven ability to lead and supervise others.
A good understanding of care planning processes
Be experienced in or happy to undertake training on administering medication

What you’ll be doing
Being a Registered Nurse doesn’t just mean providing leadership for care staff and supporting residents with a range of complex needs and dependency levels. It means getting to use your wide variety of nursing skills in a unique environment where no two days are the same. It means ensuring the ongoing safety of residents, staff and visitors alike through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes. And it means spending quality time with residents and being integral to creating long-term care plans for them. Put simply, it means making a difference. A real difference.
What you’ll need
An NMC Registered Nurse who’s used to working with older people, you know how to use clinical assessment tools like Waterlow and MUST. You’re also well-organised, understand care planning processes and have a proven ability to write comprehensive care plans. Supervising others and building effective and credible relationships, both internally and externally, comes naturally to you too. What’s more, you’re great at inspiring professionalism and positively influencing others. Above all, you know how to help make the lives of others more fulfilling and want to work in an environment where the work can be hard, but also fun and rewarding.

Wellbeing Support
You’re a caring, can-do person with experience working in building maintenance. Ideally, some of that has been gained in a care home setting. You’ve got a good basic education with GCSEs (or the equivalent) including English and Maths. As well as being very practical, you like dealing with people. You’re happy building good relationships with residents, colleagues and contractors. You’re a multi-tasker who can work well under pressure and use your initiative to solve problems. Above all, you’re a team player who takes pride in your work and is committed to maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for our residents.
Your role
The safety of our care home residents and staff is really important. So your role will be to make sure the premises and grounds are maintained to a high standard. You’ll perform regular checks, carry out repairs and, when needed, contact engineers or service agents. You’ll be confident doing fire, basic electrical and appliance checks. Faults must be reported and actioned promptly. We’ll also expect you to keep the grounds looking tidy and carry out general redecoration work. As our Maintenance Person, you’ll be a valuable member of our friendly, close-knit team, promoting the well-being of our residents and the successful running of our care home.
