We develop future leaders
Our bespoke leadership development programmes offer exciting learning opportunities where colleagues can develop the skills and knowledge required to be a successful and outstanding leader.
Each programme has been created with the purpose of supporting colleagues within their career progression, and alongside their manager's support.
This programme has been created to equip colleagues with the behaviours and skills to progress into a Deputy Manager role. Candidates will complete behavioural workshops, core skills workshops and a leadership project reflecting the actions they've taken to implement their learnings and create a positive impact within a care home.
They can also optionally complete a Level 3 Team Leader Supervisor qualification.
Colleagues will develop in their journeys to becoming home managers in this programme. To become part of a FHM cohort, colleagues are nominated and go through a talent review process with their Regional Director to assess their development potential.
The programme involves behavioural workshops around recruiting, retaining and developing a great team; core skills workshops; completion of a Level 5 Leadership in Health and Social Care qualification and a final review where candidates demonstrate what they've learned.
The Future Operational Support Manager and Regional Director programme is a tailored two-day workshop (delivered twice a year per cohort) accompanied by existing Regional Director mentors to support colleagues with their career journey.
The programme involves bespoke behavioural workshops tailored to the needs of the group, continual reflection and mentoring and an option to complete a Level 5 Operational Developmental Manager qualification.
