A care home in Windsor is inviting the community for a special garden party.
On Wednesday 13 September, from 2pm-4pm, Care UK’s Mountbatten Grange, on Helston Lane, will be hosting a event to celebrate the end of a summer to remember.
To get the party going, there will be live entertainment from a professional singer, who will be performing some of the 1960s and 1970s best tunes. In true summer fashion, guests will also be treated to a barbecue, specially prepared by the home’s chef, as well as ice cream and refreshments.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to take a tour around Mountbatten Grange and meet the home’s friendly care team.
Debbie Winwood, Home Manager at Mountbatten Grange, said: “It may not have been the sunniest of all summers, but it was definitely one to remember for us!
“We’ve hosted many popular events for the community throughout June, July and August, and so we wanted to say goodbye to the warmer months in style. That’s why we’re so excited to be hosting one final end-of-summer garden party, bringing together all the things we know residents and our friends in the community will love.
“This is set to be an amazing event, and we expect it to be really popular, so we’d like to encourage everyone to RSVP as soon as they’re able to secure a place.”
Mountbatten Grange is a care home that provides residential, nursing and short-term respite care, as well as specialist dementia care. The home features 72 en-suite bedrooms and enables residents to live active and fulfilled lives while also promoting independence. Mountbatten Grange has its own café, hair and beauty salon and cinema.
