A care home in Cheadle is inviting the local community to a free event designed to provide support for those considering their loved one’s future care.
On Friday 7th July, from 3.30pm-4.30pm, the Care UK team at Abney Court, in Abney Hall Park, is inviting members of the community to its free ‘Planning future care’ event.
Independent specialist, Almas Patankar, Associate Solicitor from Gorvins Solicitors, will be on hand to offer professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for a loved one and on legal matters such as wills and Power of Attorney.
Amcia Hara, Home Manager at Abney Court, said: “We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from the expert’s knowledge, as the advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received.
“We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are delighted to be joined by a local professional for this event. Almas is an expert in her field and can provide practical advice and support.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming Almas for what we anticipate will be an incredibly helpful afternoon for all involved.”
