Let the good vibes roll! Sutton Coldfield care home invites local community to summer festival

A care home in Sutton Coldfield is inviting local people for a day of family-friendly summer fun.

On Saturday 15^th July, from 2pm-4pm, Care UK’s Mercia Grange, on Lichfield Road, is set to hit the right note as it opens its doors to local people for a summer festival.

The fun-filled festival comes as Mercia Grange celebrates Care Home Open Week, a national initiative that encourages care homes to open their doors and showcase what life in a care home is really like.

In true summer style, guests will be invited to take part in traditional garden games and browse a range of craft and book stalls.

There will also be a tarot reading stall, where visitors will be given a glimpse into their past, present or future selves by team member, Julie-Ann Henry.

Visitors will also be treated to a Greek barbecue, specially prepared by the home’s talented Head Chef.

To top the afternoon off, there will be an ice cream van on hand for everyone to enjoy a scoop or two and get their sweet fix.
