Let the good vibes roll! Cheltenham care home invites local community to a festival to remember

A new festival is coming to Cheltenham – and you won’t believe where it’s taking place.

On Saturday 1^st July, from 11am-4pm, Care UK’s Sandfields, on St George’s Road, is set to hit the right note as it opens its doors to local people for its very own summer music festival.

The fun-filled festival comes as Sandfields celebrates Care Home Open Week, a national initiative that encourages care homes to open their doors and showcase what life in a care home is really like. 

The special event will see guests invited to dance along to live entertainment from popular local singer, Wolfren Riverstick, who will be singing classics from the 1950s, 60s and 70s – sure to get the party started.

There will also be a performance by JB Steelpan, who will be playing a variety of popular songs on the steel drums. There will be fairground games to keep the whole family entertained, and visitors will also be treated to a delicious summer barbecue, specially prepared by the home’s talented Head Chef.
