Let the good vibes roll! Cheadle care home invites local community to a festival to remember

A new festival is coming to Cheadle – and you won’t believe where it’s taking place.  

On Saturday 24^th June, from 12pm-4pm, Care UK’s Abney Court, in Abney Hall Park, is set to hit the right note as it opens its doors to local people to visit the brand-new Abney Family Festival. 

The fun-filled festival comes as Abney Court celebrates Care Home Open Week, a national initiative that encourages care homes to open their doors and showcase what life in a care home is really like. 

Abney Family Festival will see guests invited to dance along to live entertainment from local singer, Gabrielle, who will be performing classic hits from musicals from across the decades – sure to get the party started.

There will be a special visit from Inspiring Animals, bringing a flock of sheep into the home – for everyone to enjoy spending time getting to know the friendly creatures.

Visitors can also try their luck to win a host of prizes at the tombola, plus there’ll be a bouncy castle and a face painter on hand to keep younger visitors entertained.

Visitors will also be treated to a traditional summer barbecue, specially prepared by the home’s talented Head Chef.
