Let the good vibes roll! Bracknell care home invites local community to a festival to remember

A new festival is coming to Bracknell – and you won’t believe where it’s taking place.  

On 28^th June, from 2pm-5pm Care UK’s Bickerton House, on Warfield Road, is set to hit the right note as it opens its doors to local people for the brand-new festival. 

The fun-filled festival comes as Bickerton House celebrates Care Home Open Week, a national initiative that encourages care homes to open their doors and showcase what life in a care home is really like. 

The special event will see guests invited to dance along to live entertainment from singer Phil Harman who will be performing with a guitar, kazoo and harmonica – sure to get the party started.

Visitors will also be treated to street food, including hotdogs and loaded nachos specially prepared by the home’s talented Head Chef.

Jo Anderson, Customer Relations Manager at Bickerton House, said: “We have our dancing shoes (and wellies!) at the ready as we gear up to celebrate Care Home Open Week and get set to welcome summer in style.

“Here at Bickerton House, we are always looking for new and exciting ways to support residents to lead fulfilling lives – and what better way to do that than to host our very own festival, as we pull out all the musical stops.

“We’re excited to open our doors to the community and welcome the people of Bracknell for what promises to be a truly memorable event – come along and join us for a musically good time!”
