Let the good vibes roll! Aberdeen care home invites local community to a festival to remember

A new festival is coming to Aberdeen – and you won’t believe where it’s taking place.  

On Wednesday 28^th June, from 2.30pm-4.30pm, Care UK’s Tor Na Dee, on North Deeside Road, is set to hit the right note as it opens its doors to local people for its brand-new Summer Festival.

The fun-filled festival comes as Tor Na Dee celebrates Care Home Open Week, a national initiative that encourages care homes to open their doors and showcase what life in a care home is really like. 

The special event will see guests dancing along to live entertainment from popular local singer, Jack Mcpherson, who will be performing a variety of classic tunes from the 1950s, 60s and 70s – sure to get the party started.

Visitors will also be treated to classic strawberries and cream, specially prepared by the home’s talented Head Chef.

Maureen Barrett, Home Manager at Tor Na Dee, said: “We have our dancing shoes (and wellies!) at the ready as we gear up to celebrate Care Home Open Week and get set to welcome summer in style.

Tor Na Dee is a modern care home which provides full-time residential and short-term respite care.
