Worcester care home invites local people to a right royal knees up

A care home in Worcester is opening its doors to the local community for a street party fit for a king to mark the upcoming royal coronation.

On Friday 5^th May, from 2.30pm-5pm, Care UK’s Perry Manor, on Charles Hastings Way, is inviting local people for a ‘right royal knees up’ and to raise a glass of bubbly to King Charles.

The fun-filled street party will see guests receive the royal treatment, with live entertainment from team member Ruby Hudson, who will be performing classic tunes throughout the event – sure to get everyone in the party spirit. 

Visitors will be treated to a quintessentially British afternoon tea, including Victoria sponge and scones with cream and jam, whipped up by the home’s head chef. 

Celebrating in true British style, the home will be adorned with union jack bunting and residents will have their British flags at the ready.
