A care home in Bracknell is giving blue-light workers a tasty treat to collect on their way to work.
The team at Care UK’s Bickerton House, on Warfield Road, is giving out free take-away breakfasts for those in the community as a small token of thanks for their hard work.
Blue-light workers are encouraged to order their breakfast and then come along to the care home’s front door on Friday 17th February between 10.00-11.00am to pick up a breakfast sandwich and hot drink – which the team is organising as a treat to brighten their day on their way to work or way back from a night shift.
If you are a blue-light worker, please phone the home to order a breakfast on us.
The head chef at Bickerton House is creating egg, bacon, sausage, and vegan breakfast baps to give out to those who play vital roles in the community, from local nurses and police to healthcare workers.
Erika Smith, Home Manager at Bickerton House, said: “Our breakfast giveaway provides us with an excellent opportunity to do something nice for people who support our community day-in-day-out.
“The whole team are very much looking forward to welcoming the local community to the home’s front door and can’t wait to thank the blue-light workers in our community for all their efforts.
“If you are a blue-light worker, please phone the home to order a breakfast on us.”
