Edinburgh care home named in the top 20 in Scotland

A care home in Edinburgh is celebrating after being recognised as one of the best care providers in the country.

Care UK’s Lauder Lodge, on Wakefield Avenue, has been named by carehome.co.uk in the ‘Top 20 Care Home Awards’ which highlights the most recommended care homes across the UK. 

The awards are based on over 120,000 independent reviews posted on the carehome.co.uk website. They are written by residents and relatives of those living in care homes across the country.

With a score of 9.9 out of ten, 100% of reviewers for Lauder Lodge have rated the care home as ‘excellent’. One review on carehome.co.uk said: “My sisters and I are delighted with the care our mum is receiving from Lauder Lodge. She is starting to enjoy the activities and company of the other residents. The staff are always helpful friendly and always very supportive.”
