Popular ‘planning for future care’ event returns to Cheadle care home

A care home in Cheadle is inviting the local community to a free online event designed to provide support for those considering their loved one’s future care.

On Wednesday 24th November, from 11am-12.30pm, the Care UK team at Abney Court, in Abney Hall Park, will be hosting a free ‘Planning care for the future’ online event.

Independent specialist Elizabeth Faye, co-founder and head of Care Services at Carepal, will be on hand to offer professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for a loved one and how to navigate the care system in England.

Andrew McIntyre, Home Manager at Abney Court: “We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from the expert’s knowledge, as the advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received.

“We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are delighted to be joined by a professional for this virtual event. Elizabeth is an expert in her field and can provide practical advice and support which we’re confident the community will find invaluable.”
