Bracknell care home rated in the top 20 in the South East

A care home in Bracknell has been named in the top 20 most recommended care homes in the South East.

The Care UK team at Bickerton House on Warfield Road beat off stiff competition from care homes in the South East to be named in the top 20 in carehome.co.uk’s Top 20 Care Home Awards 2021. 

 

The annual awards, which highlight the top care homes throughout the UK, celebrate the very best people in the long-term care sector and reward those who work tirelessly to provide consistently outstanding care. Ratings for the award are based on reviews and recommendations from care home residents, and their friends and family, received from 1^st July 2020 to 30^th June 2021. 

Bickerton House currently has a score of 10 on carehome.co.uk, the highest rating score possible to achieve. Each review published for Bickerton House has a five star ‘excellent’ rating with every reviewer noting they are ‘extremely likely’ to recommend Bickerton House and commenting on the many aspects of the home’s care, including management, activities, care and catering. 

One reviewer commented: “The staff are wonderful, and the facilities are excellent. It gave me complete peace of mind my father was being looked after while my husband and I took a short break. I cannot praise the home more – it is superb”. Another reviewer said: “The atmosphere is so welcoming and the support the staff provide is more than you could wish for.”

Bickerton House has been designed to encourage residents to live active and fulfilling lives, while remaining as independent as possible in a safe environment. The state-of-the-art care home, which opened last year, provides full-time residential, nursing and specialist dementia care, and features a bar and café, cinema, hair salon, activities room and garden.
