Residents at a care home in Sevenoaks had a festive visit from a very special someone.
Santa Claus found time in his busy schedule to visit Care UK’s Weald Heights, on Bourchier Close, to spread some festive cheer and hand out some early Christmas presents.
The team at Weald Heights organised the visit through White Horse Farm Equestrian Centre, who will be bringing horses to visit the residents in the summer. Residents enjoyed a festive morning, including traditional Christmas songs and mince pies with Santa appearing as a surprise once the festivities were in full swing.
Maria Covington, Home Manager at Weald Heights, said: “The festive season is a time we all look forward to, and this year more than ever, we wanted to ensure everyone got into the Christmas spirit.
“Many residents have fond memories of past Christmases growing up, and many remember taking their own children to meet Santa. It was lovely to see the looks on everyone’s faces when he arrived in a carriage pulled by horses. The visit brought joy to everyone and will be one to remember for many Christmases to come.
“We’d like to thank White Horse Farm Equestrian Centre for helping us to organise the visit and wish everyone a very Merry Christmas from all of us at Weald Heights!”
