A care home in Stansted is inviting local people to join a free online event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.
On Tuesday 15th December, from 11am – 11:45am, the Care UK team at Mountfitchet House, on Coltsfield, will be hosting a free ‘Care Fee Planning’ event virtually.
Nicky Cave, an accredited care funding specialist from Eldercare group, will be on hand to deliver an informative session to help those caring for a loved one to understand the options for funding long-term care, including how the care funding system works, and which state assistance may be available.
Jane Maxwell, Home Manager at Mountfitchet House, said: “Here at Mountfitchet House, we understand that providing advice and guidance can be incredibly helpful for anyone considering the future care of a loved one, which is why we are delighted to host this event virtually.
“It is a privilege to be joined by Nicky, who can provide professional guidance in this area, and we hope local people will take this opportunity to benefit from her expertise.”
For anyone unsure about how to take part in the virtual event, help is at hand. The team at Mountfitchet House will host the event using Zoom, an online meeting space. Simply call or email Customer Relations Manager, Laura Cook, and she will send a link to join the event and share her tips to make the most out of the session.
