Home manager takes the helm at Stansted care home

A care home in Stansted has announced the appointment of its new home manager.

Jane Maxwell, who first worked for Care UK 15 years ago as a care assistant, will step into her new role at Mountfitchet House, on Coltsfield.

With a variety of qualifications and awards, including ‘Home Manager of the Year’ in 2018 and ‘Excellence in Management Award’ in 2017, Jane brings over fifteen years’ experience to the role, and has worked in a variety of different positions within the care industry.

Jane’s new position will see her take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the care home, which accommodates up to 60 residents.

Commenting on her new position, Jane said: “I am thrilled to be returning to Care UK and to be leading the Mountfitchet House team in providing the highest standard of care for residents.

“Residents are at the heart of everything we as care providers do, and I was keen to join an organisation that’s ethos and values reflect my own. Having worked in all aspects of care home life, I am able to really appreciate the differing roles, needs and responsibilities of each position, which enables me to support my team, and ultimately residents, as best as possible.”

Mountfitchet House is a state-of-the-art care home which provides full-time residential, nursing and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care.
