Popular ‘planning care for the future’ event returns to Godalming care home

A care home in Godalming is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event, designed to provide support for those considering their loved one’s future care.

On Thursday 5th March, from 2pm-4pm, the Care UK team at Jubilee House, on Pound Lane, will open the home’s doors for the free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.

Amy Nelson, from Baker Law Solicitors, and Tony Dunne, from Murdoch Asset Management, will be on hand to offer professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for a loved one, including the benefits they may be entitled to and how to make savings go further, along with wills and power of attorney.

During the event, those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the friendly team at Jubilee House and take a closer look at the care home.

Totka Zhelyazkova, home manager at Jubilee House, said: “We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise, as the advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received.

“We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are delighted to welcome Amy and Tony to the event, who are experts in their field and can provide practical advice and support.”

Jubilee House has been designed to deliver the very best standards of care and to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives. The home provides full-time residential and nursing dementia care, as well as respite care.
