Orpington care home to host party for café relaunch

A care home in Orpington is hosting a celebration to relaunch its recently refurbished café.

Care UK’s Foxbridge House, on Sevenoaks Road, will be welcoming guests on Thursday 20^th February, from 2pm-4pm, to help commemorate the relaunch of the café.

The relaxed party will be a fun-filled afternoon, where guests will be treated to a delicious afternoon tea and live entertainment from keyboard player and singer, Salvatore.

The café has recently been extended to double the size of the area, and refurbished to the highest standard, which now includes new indoor and outdoor furniture, a kitchen area with new coffee machine, and fresh flooring and lighting.

Jane Kingsmill, home manager at Foxbridge House, said: “At Foxbridge House, we strive to create a sense of belonging within the home, and to provide a positive impact on the local community by building support systems for our neighbours. We have created a cheerful environment at the newly refurbished café, where everyone can relax and feel comfortable, and be able to meet like-minded people.

“We’re thrilled to invite the local community to our café relaunch party, and are looking forward to welcoming some new faces for a chat over a cup of tea and slice of cake.”
