Popular ‘planning care for the future’ event returns to Sevenoaks care home

A care home in Sevenoaks is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for those considering their loved one’s future care.

On Thursday 16th January, from 2pm-4pm, the Care UK team at Weald Heights, on Bourchier Close, will open the home’s doors for the free ‘planning care for the future’ event.

Kieron Robertson, retirement & later life advice specialist, and Damien Jones, partner at Knocker and Foskett Solicitors Sevenoaks, will be on hand to offer professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for a loved one, including the benefits you may be entitled to and how to make savings go further, and matters including wills and Power of Attorney.

During the event, those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the friendly team at Weald Heights and take a closer look at the care home.

Maria Covington, home manager at Weald Heights, said: “We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise, as the advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received.

“We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are delighted to welcome Kieron and Damien to the event, who are experts in their field and can provide practical advice and support.”
