Open invitation to take first look at Bracknell’s newest care home

A new care home in Bracknell is inviting the local community to celebrate its completion with an exclusive first look inside the purpose-built facilities.

Bickerton House care home, on Warfield Road, is opening its doors on Saturday 11^th and Sunday 12^th January to give local people the opportunity to take a closer look at the brand-new home before it welcomes the first residents.

From 10am-4pm, members of the public can drop in to take a tour around the completed care home, which will provide residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 77 residents, as well as meet the friendly team at Bickerton House.

Home manager at Bickerton House, Erika Smith, said: “The team at Bickerton House is really looking forward to welcoming the first residents to the home. We are proud of the environment that has been created, and every last detail here has been considered to create a high-quality, luxury care home which will enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives.

“The open days will give visitors the chance to see the care home for themselves and to talk to the team, whilst getting an insight into what day-to-day life will be like at Bickerton House. They can also find out more about the kind of activities that will be on offer, our cuisine and much more.”

Opening in January 2020, the purpose-built care home has been designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence. The home will provide full-time residential, nursing and specialist dementia care, and will incorporate space for hobby and leisure activities, including its own cinema, hair salon and café.
