Residents from Care UK’s Brook Court, on Oldnall Road, and pupils from Foley Park Primary Academy are warming up for the Dementia Friendly Choir Concert at Kidderminster Town Hall on Thursday 28th November, where they will be performing a medley of songs.
This is the debut performance at the Dementia Friendly Concert for the choir, and pupils and residents are working hard in rehearsals to make the performance a success.
Gill Pratt, home manager at Brook Court, said: “Intergenerational relationships benefit both residents and the pupils, so the choir is a fantastic way of bringing them together. It’s been really special watching the friendships grow during rehearsals.
“The residents and pupils have picked out some lovely songs, as well as some festive carols, to get into the Christmas spirit, including everyone’s favourite Jingle Bells. I’m very much looking forward to watching the performance - break a leg to all the performers!”
