Residents and team members at a Stansted care home hosted a celebratory party to mark the home’s fifth birthday.
The Care UK team at Mountfitchet House, on Coltsfield, were joined by local people to toast the special milestone.
On the day, residents and team members decorated the home with banners and balloons, before enjoying an afternoon tea specially prepared by the home’s head chef. A performance from local singer, Steve Ritchie, got everyone’s feet tapping to the sounds of the 60’s, and a special birthday cake had been baked for visitors and residents to enjoy.
Allison Squires, home manager at Mountfitchet House, said: “Mountfitchet House has had many memorable moments over the past five years, and it’s lovely to celebrate the successes and good times with residents.
“Over the last five years, we have grown to play a large part within the Stansted community, and it was wonderful to be able to mark such a special occasion with local people. Whether it was getting glammed up before the party, enjoying afternoon tea or dancing along to music from our fantastic performer, everyone certainly celebrated in style!”
Mountfitchet House has been designed to deliver the very best standards of care and to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives. The home provides full-time residential and nursing care, as well as short-term respite.
