There was fun in the sun for everyone when the team at Colne View welcomed the local community for a traditional British summer party.
The Care UK team at Colne View, on Dame Mary Walk, were joined by local people for an afternoon of family-friendly activities at their summer street party event.
Residents and visitors enjoyed live entertainment from Darrell Williams, an international singer from the Frederick Douglas Performing Arts Academy, as well as being treated to delicious cakes and a special visit from Aaron Whippy’s ice-cream van. Guests also had the opportunity to browse a variety of craft stalls.
Razvan Stanbeca, home manager at Colne View, said: “We had a great time welcoming local people to our street party. The residents really enjoyed the summer celebrations, and it was fantastic to have so many relatives and members of the community come along. Here at Colne View, we are always looking for ways to build strong relationships with the people of Halstead, and holding a street party was a brilliant opportunity to do just that.
“Everyone had a fantastic afternoon, the day really was a highlight of the summer here at Colne View, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back again soon.”
