The team at Abney Court care home are inviting the local community to learn about oral care at its free event.
On Wednesday 25th September from 11am-12.30pm, the Care UK team at Abney Court will be joined by Emma Riley, National Chair of the Society of British Dental Nurses and Healthcare Services Director for RIS Healthcare, who will be sharing expert advice and guidance on how to care for your mouth, as well as explaining the positive benefits of effective oral care.
After the event, there will be a chance to meet the friendly team at Abney Court and take a closer look at the care home, which is built in the historic grounds of Abney Hall in Cheadle.
Home manager at Abney Court, Helen Parry, said: “Here at Abney Court, we seek to provide in-depth advice to people in the local community on topics relating to our work. Oral care is very important to people’s health and wellbeing, and with the team here committed to offering useful and practical support, we are delighted to invite Emma to the home to share her advice.
“The event aims to turn knowledge into action when it comes to oral care, and we look forward to welcoming members of the Cheadle community along to our informative session.”
