On Tuesday 27th August, from 11am-4pm, the team at Buchanan Court on Sudbury Hill will welcome the people of Harrow for a day of summer celebrations.
Residents and visitors will be able to celebrate the summer in style by trying their luck at a variety of games, and tapping their feet to live music from Heidi, who will sing some of the residents’ favourites from the 50s, 60s and 70s. There will also be the chance to browse an array of food, jewellery and other items.
The family-friendly event has been organised in partnership with the National Citizenship Service, a programme that brings 15-17 year olds together to help their local community.
Ruth Halls, home manager at Buchanan Court, said: “Maintaining strong relationships with the community is a valuable part of life at Buchanan Court. Hosting this summer fête provides us with the amazing opportunity to welcome not only the people of Harrow, but also the National Citizenship Service too.
“It is set to be a wonderful event, and the residents and the team here at Buchanan Court are all looking forward to welcoming our Harrow neighbours for a day of family-friendly fun.”
