The team at Trymview Hall was joined by developer and construction partner, Halsall Construction.
The project is on track to create more than 61 jobs when the care home is fully commissioned, and will welcome its first residents later this year.
Claire Ellam, development project manager at Care UK, said: “As the latest addition to a growing portfolio of residential care homes, Trymview Hall represents a major investment for Care UK. When complete, the purpose-built care home will boost the provision of quality residential care for up to 66 people, as well as creating jobs for the local community.
“I am delighted to have been part of this milestone as we step ever closer to opening the doors to older people in Southmead.”
Lee Vile, project manager at Halsall Construction, who is overseeing the development in Southmead, added: “Our team is delighted to have marked this key stage in the construction programme with our partners at Care UK. This project will deliver beautifully designed individual accommodation for residents, complemented by high quality communal facilities, and we’re all excited to see the impressive building beginning to take shape.”
