Home manager takes the helm at new Trymview Hall

 

A new care home in Bristol has announced the appointment of its home manager.

Care UK has appointed Pamela Arnsmeyer as home manager at Trymview Hall. Pamela will lead the team at the new care home when it opens in winter 2019. 

A registered general nurse, Pamela has a number of health and leadership qualifications, andin her previous role, she was home manager of a 62-room nursing dementia care home, so brings a wealth of experience and insight to support those living with dementia.

Pamela’s new position will see her take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the new care home, which will accommodate up to 66 residents. 

Commenting on her new position, Pamela said: “I am delighted to have been appointed as the home manager here in Southmead, and I am excited to lead a skilled and supportive team when we open the doors later this year. Care UK has values and principles that align with my own, built around a culture of ‘the resident comes first’ so I’m looking forward to working in an environment that is warm and friendly for residents and the team alike.” 

Omar Taylor, regional director at Care UK, said: “The arrival of this new home to Bristol represents an important investment for Care UK, and we’re thrilled to have Pamela on board. Every detail has been considered to provide the highest standards of care, but having the right people working in the home is key to the overall experience of residents.

“Pamela is a highly experienced individual and has a successful track record in her career to date. I know she will play an important part in driving standards to ensure our home in Southmead builds a reputation for quality, person-centred care.”
