On Wednesday 29th May, from 2pm - 4pm the team at Harrier Lodge will open the home’s doors for its ‘Living well with MS’ event, where experts will give professional advice and support.
Member Support Manager Karen Middlemiss, from the Kent MS Therapy Centre will deliver the session to help individuals understand what MS is and how to stay healthy. The event also aims to provide advice on exercises that can improve mobility, and which therapies can be of benefit to those living with MS.
There will also be a Q&A session to ensure attendees get the most out of the session, alongside an opportunity to meet the friendly team at Harrier Lodge.
Diane Collins, home manager at Harrier Lodge, said: “We strongly believe that the sharing of professional knowledge or personal experiences can be really beneficial for those living or caring for someone with MS. This event allows for members of the community meet others who are going through the same thing.
“We are pleased to be hosting the ‘Living well with MS event’, and look forward to delivering an informative and interesting day to help those living with MS.”
