Scarlet House is to donate chocolate eggs to a local food bank and children’s community initiative after hosting a special Easter raffle.

They cracked it! Scarlet House hosts special Easter raffle

The home ran a raffle with a difference last weekend, when residents, friends, families and team members were asked to donate an Easter egg in return for a ticket to a prize draw.

A cracking total of 80 eggs were donated, which have been passed on to Stroud District Food Bank and Stroud District Kids Stuff, a community company which gives children’s items to families in need.

Home manager at Scarlet House, Kate Stevens, said: “We’re very proud to have hosted our Easter raffle, which we hope will deliver a smile to children who may not have got an egg at Easter time. We are egg-stremely grateful to everyone who took part and to those who provided prizes!”

Prizes for the draw were donated by Waitrose Stroud, Omar Taylor (Care UK Operations Support Manger) and the Lifestyle Team at Scarlet House.
