Popular ‘planning care for the future’ event returns to Weald Heights

Weald Heights is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for those considering their loved one’s future care.

On Wednesday 20th February, from 2pm - 4pm, the team at Weald Heights will open its doors for the free ‘planning care for the future’ event.

Independent specialists David Lea, from Thackray Williams Solicitors, David Hawes-Gatt, from Chevening Financial Limited, and Felicity Bunt, from Senior Services, will be on hand to offer professional advice and guidance about funding long-term carefor a loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. The experts will also discuss legal matters, such as wills and power of attorney.

During the event there will also be further advice on downsizing and relocation services, and those who attend will have the opportunity to meet the friendly team at Weald Heights and have a closer look at the care home.

Maria Covington, home manager at Weald Heights, said: “We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise, as the advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received.

“We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are delighted to welcome three local professionals to the event, who are experts in their field and can provide practical advice and support.”
