Planning for your loved one’s future care? Heather View offers free advice

Heather View is inviting the local community to a free event offering support for people considering care for their loved one.

Planning for your loved one’s future care? Heather View offers free advice

Back by popular demand, on Wednesday 6th March, from 2pm - 4pm, the team at Heather View will open the doors to the community for its free ‘planning care for the future’ event.

Independent specialists, Ed Walter and Andrew Dixon-Smith, will be on hand to deliver an informative session to help those caring for a loved one to understand the available options for funding long-term care. They will also offer expert information on legal matters, including wills and power of attorney.

After the event there will be a helpful Q&A session along with the opportunity to meet the friendly care team and take a closer look at the home.

Heather View home manager, Natasha King, said: “Here at Heather View, we understand that providing advice and guidance can be incredibly helpful for anyone considering the future care of a loved one, which is why we are thrilled to host this popular event once again with the help of an independent expert.

“We are delighted to have Ed and Andrew joining us to provide professional guidance in this area, and we hope local people will take the opportunity to benefit from their expertise.”

Heather View will also host a fundraising event, ‘Time for a Cuppa’, from 10.30am-12pm on the same day. Hot drinks and treats will be served in aid of Dementia UK, and the event is open to all.
