Mercia Grange helps spread the festive feeling

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Mercia Grange, as the local community is invited to celebrate the festive season at its annual Christmas fayre.

On Saturday 1st December from 2pm-4pm, the team will open the doors to the home and bring festive cheer to the town.

Visitors will be able to start their Christmas shopping at a number of stalls, and enjoy festive treats including mince pies and mulled wine, all while listening to live music from Moonlight Serenade – a local Glenn Miller Tribute band.

Shirley Gibbs, home manager at Mercia Grange, said: “Christmas has officially arrived here at Mercia Grange and we’re thrilled to be able to bring everyone together for an evening of festive fun!

“The local community is a huge part of life here and the relationships we have are extremely important to us, so the invitation to share our Christmas fayre is a great way to say thank you for their support over the last year and spread some festive cheer.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of people to the home for what promises to be an exciting evening of festive celebrations.”
