From 2.30pm - 4pm, the team at Weald Heights will open the doors to the care home for a fun-filled afternoon of celebrations.
Visitors to Weald Heights will be treated to songs performed by pupils from St Thomas’ Catholic Primary School. In addition, live entertainment will be provided by Santino, a singer who will get everyone in the party spirit with a variety of songs from across the ages. There will also be a delicious buffet for visitors to sample, freshly prepared by the home’s head chef.
Maria Covington, home manager at Weald Heights said: “Residents and team members alike are really excited to welcome the local community into the home to celebrate our first birthday.
“It has been a momentous year for Weald Heights. We’ve opened a new nursing suite, invited schools to join residents for carol singing and piano playing, participated in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch, and even opened a children’s play area, named for us by Lady Boswells C.E. (Aided) Primary School.
“We are proud of the strong relationships we’ve developed with the people of Sevenoaks, and this event is a great opportunity to welcome them in to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day full of family fun.”
