Abney Court has been rated among the top care homes in Greater Manchester by a leading comparison website.  

The team at Abney Court is celebrating after being recognised as one of the best care homes in the region.

Abney Court achieved a rating of 9.8 based on 57 independent reviews on carehome.co.uk, and secured a top spot out of 554 homes in the region.

The rating is based on reviews of the care home written by the residents, spouses and family members, and provides candid feedback about what life is like at Abney Court. 

One relative wrote: “Abney Court challenged all my preconceptions about care homes. Wonderful caring team members who really know the meaning of person-centred care. Fantastic facilities, including a lovely coffee shop, cinema and hairdressers. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and full of fun!! The activities team work extremely hard to ensure there is a weekly schedule of interesting and engaging activities. Mum initially came for respite and loved it so much, she is now a permanent resident.”
