Join Echelforde for a royal celebration this Care Home Open Day

Echelforde is inviting local people to visit the home to join in its celebrations for Care Home Open Day.

On Saturday 21st April, from 1.30pm-5pm, Echelforde will be welcoming the local community for a fun-filled afternoon, including a visit from special guests the Mayor of the Borough of Ashford Councillor, Winston Michael, and Mayoress Doreen Michael.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy afternoon tea in the home’s coffee shop, and will be able to take part in an art workshop led by Creative Station. Visitors can also try their luck in a raffle and browse a bric-a-brac stall.

Home manager at Echelforde, Jagpal Singh, added: “Care Home Open Day is a brilliant way of getting to know our neighbours even better, and supporting intergenerational relationships between residents and younger guests. We have plenty of activities and entertainment on offer for all the family, so we hope that the local community will join our celebrations.”
