Free advice event at Pear Tree Court

Pear Tree Court is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for people considering their loved one’s future care.

On Thursday 1st March from 6pm-7pm, the team at Pear Tree Court will open its doors for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.

Independent specialists Chris Brooker and Nick Truss, from Care Funding & Financial Planning, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for their loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. Selina Williams and Andrea Cox, from Verisona Law, will also be in attendance to discuss legal matters, such as Power of Attorney.

After the event there will be a Q&A session with refreshments, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Pear Tree Court and take a tour of the new care home.

Home manager at Pear Tree Court, Ray Arnold, said: “We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are very happy to welcome Chris, Nick, Selina and Andrea to the event, who are all experts in their field and can provide practical advice and support

“We hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from the help and guidance provided at this event.”
