Free advice event returns to Larkland house

Larkland House is inviting the local community to a free advice-led event designed to provide support for people considering their loved one’s future care.

On Thursday 15th February from 11am-1pm, the team at Larkland House will open the doors for its free ‘Planning care for the future’ event.

Independent specialist Jeremy Davies, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for their loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. Fraser Cottington, from Honey Legal, will also be in attendance to discuss legal matters such as Power of Attorney.

After the event there will be a Q&A session, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Larkland House and take a tour of the care home.

Home manager at Larkland House, Shawndell Barker, said: “The advice and guidance provided at this event has always been very well received, and we hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from our expertise.

“We know that planning future care can bring up a lot of questions, so we are delighted to welcome Jeremy and Fraser to the event, both of whom are experts in their field and can provide practical advice and support.”
