Ahead of the opening of Pear Tree Court early next year, the care home is searching for local people or organisations who go above and beyond for their community, friends or family, and have a positive impact on the local area.
The winner of the ‘rewarding residents’ competition will receive a £300 cash prize and will be invited to cut the ribbon and officially open Horndean’s newest care home at its grand launch event on Thursday 1st March. There will also be two runners up, the first will win £200 and the second will receive a £100 cash prize.
Ray Arnold, home manager at Pear Tree Court, said: “We all know that one person who organises everything, is always there for others and never shies away from offering a helping hand – so here at Pear Tree Court we want to say thank you.
“Whether they’re a volunteer at a local charity, a community group that really makes a difference to the area, or simply someone who goes that extra mile for others - share your story with us so we can reward them with the treat they deserve.”
To nominate ‘rewarding residents’, visit careuk.com/rewarding-hampshire before Thursday 8th February and explain in 100 - 400 words why they deserve to be rewarded.
