Residents at Perry Manor hosted a variety of ghoulish guests for a special Halloween party.
The team at Perry Manor on Charles Hasting Way were joined by resident’s families, as well as team member’s children to celebrate the spooky occasion.
Vampires, witches and even Frankenstein all paid the residents a spook-tacular visit, with the team arranging for the children to trick or treat within the care home.
Ahead of the celebration, the home opened its doors to the community and organised craft activities including making masks, witches hats and costumes and prizes were awarded to the spookiest creations.
Katherine Matthews, home manager at Perry Manor, said: “We are always looking to plan interesting and exciting activities for residents, and with Halloween such an exciting event in the year we thought it was a great opportunity to organise some ‘hocus pocus’ fun!
“The party proved to be a real success, and you could see from residents’ reactions just how much they enjoyed spending time with the children. Intergenerational relationships have been proven to be beneficial to older people, and it was certainly a highlight of the day for the residents at Perry Manor!”
