From 2.30pm-4pm, local people are invited to drop into Glastonbury Court to join in the celebrations.
Glastonbury Court is also welcoming residents and team members from ten other Care UK homes in the Suffolk region to run various stalls showcasing the activities each home has to offer, including craft items and bakes made by the residents.
Residents and visitors will also be able to enjoy live entertainment from local singer, Nigel Woodmason, who will get everyone into the party spirit with his repertoire of upbeat, lively tunes.
Sharlene Van Tonder, home manager at Glastonbury Court, said: “Hosting a fete provides us with a great opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of family-friendly fun. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway.
“Here at Glastonbury Court, it is important for us to build not only strong relationships with the people of Bury St Edmunds, but also with our friends from other care homes in the region. We hope this will be the first of many annual fetes with the other ten care homes here in the region.
“We look forward to welcoming people to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games.”
